Frigoboat Thread Keel Cooler with Zinc.
Frigoboat Keel Cooler fitting Thread Mount. Similar to a regular thru-hull fitting, where the throat passes through the hull, and a nut is threaded onto the shaft and tightened.
The keel-cooler must be mounted within 5′ of the compressor.
A Frigoboat keel-cooler acts as the condenser for the system. The R134a refrigerant is circulated by the compressor, down through tubing in-bedded in the sintered bronze mounted on your hull. This is where the heat exchange takes place, removing the heat completely from the refrigerant and not into vessel.

Choose either the model with zincs (E50361Z) or, if you can connect the keel cooler into your bonding system, choose the model without zincs (50361).

Well suited for refrigerator boxes of 10-18 cubic feet or freezer boxes of 5-8 cubic feet.
These measurements based on the box having good insulation, 3-4″ for refrigerator boxes, 5-6″ for freezer boxes.
This plate can be easily bent to fit into your box. Instructions provided.
Dimensions 42″w x 10.5″h
Copper tubing from plate is about 9 feet. Extensions available in 3′, 6′, and 9′ lengths, available separately for suction and liquid sides.

Danfoss/Secop BD35 compressors are multiple speed, so Frigoboat allows you to choose the most efficient rpm to run your compressor at to get the job done.
Run it fast to bring the box temperature down quickly; run it slower to maintain your box’s set point. Save on energy!
The Capri 35F works well for a refrigerator box up to 7 cu ft or a freezer box up to 4 cu ft. This is based on a box having good insulation, 3-4″ for refrigerator boxes, 5-6″ for freezer boxes.
